Miller is and should be recognized as Buffalo's best goaltender to date. Hasek is close second, but his off ice attitude drops him a notch in my book.

Hasek was the best goaltender on the planet at times. Miller was never the best goaltender in the league at any point in his career.

my biggest memory will be in the playoffs vs the flyers when briere got in alone and did 160 stick dekes and miller got him with the glove and they won 1-0

too bad they lost that series, but after that save my ears were ringing it was so loud in the building. most fun i've ever had at any sporting event

IIRC, people still boo'd their 4 minute powerplay that bridged the first and second periods

Best in the world is a bit much. I know Buffalo fans paint Hasek as the end all be all but lets face it it was a diffrent game then with the clutch and grab play that was going on. Plus the guy froze the puck every 30 sec. no matter where it was on the ice. Alot of rules had to be made because of his play style that goaltenders today can't do so it is hard to say how Miller would have truly comparied I belive. Now you may all start my crucifixtion for putting down Hasek.

i am not really sure if i'm correct on this but i believe all the other goalies who played at the same time as hasek were also playing with the same rules and the same clutch and grab stuff. but then again im not really sure can you fill me in please

So he was best in his time I'll agree to that. But whose to say how he would be now in today's NHL. Most would agree that the game is diffrent now then it was then,in rules, Conditoning, and overall athletisism. Am I saying he was terrible no. I am saying with the way he played the game then wouldn't be allowed now, so I feel he would be an above avarge goalie. I also belive Miller to be a above average goalie. In the end I feel Miller has done more for the orginization and town than Hasek has.

He had 65 wins in the two years following the lockout. Miller had 76 wins. So .....

Dude, you're crazy. Hasek carrying us to the cup finals in '99 was the best season any goalie in the history of the league has put together. 1.87 GAA and a .937 SV%. Our leading scorers in the playoffs were Zhitnik and Wooley for crying out loud. Two defensemen who really werent all world players.

Hasek was the best goalie to play the game, and we were spoiled with that in Buffalo. Its a shame that Miller will always be held in comparison to Dom, because its not fair.

The good: as the guy who almost took us (Canada) out at the last olympics and who almost dealt us a bragging rights blow we would still be recovering from even today (if the WJC results of recent are any indication)

The Bad: as the most miserable millionaire in recent memory currently holding the stanleycup of whining

the overall: its not his damn funeral come on Sabres fans!
